Taday! can automatically apply smart color coding to your events based on patterns you create. The app analyzes event titles and applies categories based on the patterns you defined. Patterns are specific text that occurs at the start, end, or anywhere in the event title.

For example, to automatically categorize all events that start with "L -", you would create a pattern like this:

• "L -" (starts with)

You can set the color by choosing from the available color palette. Now, all events that start with "L -" in the title will appear in the selected color.

Use this system to organize your calendar visually. For example, you can create patterns for different family members, such as "Mom -", "Dad -", or "Kids -", and assign each a unique color. This way, you can easily identify whose events are coming up at a glance.

Unfortunately, iOS does not support direct syncing of custom categories from other calendar apps like Google Calendar or Outlook. You will need to recreate your categories manually within Taday! using our pattern matching system.

Taday! is designed to work with any calendar that is connected to your iOS device. You can add events from your iCloud calendar, as well as any other calendars that are synced with your iOS device, such as Google Calendar or Outlook.

The app communicates directly with the iOS calendar framework, so as long as your calendar is available in the iOS Calendar app, you can use it within Taday!. Our app does not require any additional setup or configuration for these calendars.

Creating a new virtual sticky note in Taday! is quick and easy:

1. Tap the + (plus) button on the bottom right of the app
2. Take the microphone button and speak your reminder
3. Your transcribed text will appear in real-time as you speak
4. When you're done, you can edit the text by tapping in the textbox, or save the reminder
5. The new sticky note will appear on your main screen

Virtual sticky notes are perfect for quick family messages or daily tasks that don't need a specific time slot.

Adding events to your family calendar is straightforward:

1. Long press the + (plus) button on the main screen
2. Tap the calendar icon from the flyout menu that appears
3. Tap the microphone and begin speaking your event details
4. When you're done, the app will begin processing your speech to extract the event details
5. After a moment, you'll see a confirmation screen with your new event summary
6. To change any details, tap the Edit button
7. When you're done, tap Save to add it to your calendar

You can also manually add a new event by tapping the "Skip" link button to go straight to the new event form.

All new users of Taday! get access to all premium features for free for the first 7 days. After that, you must purchase a premium upgrade to continue using these features.

Premium unlocks advanced features designed for busy families:

• Event categorization - Organize events by family member or activity type
• Integrated weather forecasts - Access to real-time weather updates
• Edit calendar events - Add, edit, and delete events directly from the app
• Sync reminders - Keep your reminders in sync across all iOS devices

Premium is available as a monthly or annual subscription or one-time "lifetime" purchase for the current version of the app.

Your premium purchase is tied to your Apple ID and can be restored easily:

1. Install Taday! on your new device
2. Open the app and go to Settings
3. Tap Upgrade Now
4. Tap the Restore button and sign in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase
5. Your premium features will be restored automatically

If you're having trouble, make sure you're signed in to the correct Apple ID and that your device has an active internet connection.

If the app indicates "No Purchases Found," make sure you have an active subscription or valid purchase in your Apple account. You can check this in your iPad's Settings under Apple ID > Subscriptions.

Yes! You can install Taday! on multiple iOS devices using the same Apple ID. Your premium purchase will work across all devices signed in to your Apple account.

However, please note that calendar data is accessed from each device's configured calendar accounts (iCloud, Google, etc.). For the best family experience, we recommend using one dedicated iPad (like a kitchen tablet) as your primary family calendar hub.

If you want to sync your reminders and event categories across devices, be sure to enable those options in app settings. (Requires premium upgrade)

Yes, if you have Apple Family Sharing enabled, your premium purchase can be shared with family members in your Apple Family group.

To set this up:

1. Ensure Family Sharing is enabled in your Apple ID settings
2. Add family members to your Family Sharing group
3. Your premium purchase will automatically be available to family members
4. Family members can restore the purchase using the same method above

This works great for families who want to use Taday! on multiple iPads around the house while sharing one premium subscription.

If you have a monthly premium subscription, you can cancel it through your Apple ID:

1. Open Settings on your iPad
2. Tap your name at the top
3. Select Subscriptions
4. Find Taday! in your active subscriptions
5. Tap Cancel Subscription

Your premium features will remain active until the end of your current billing period. You can also manage subscriptions through the App Store app or at reportaproblem.apple.com.
